Honeymoon

A very happy holiday

We had a fantastic Honeymoon, starting in Barcelona. We saw lots of Gaudi, his house, apartment and church. We walked miles. On our second day we visited the castle with a trip on cable car. We then joined an enormous cruise ship for a cruise round the med. The first day was a "sea day", we then arrived in Valletta in Malta, which was 35 degrees celsius.

The next day we arrived in Naples, we saw Pompeii and then a coach trip around Naples and view of the bay. As we cruised up the coast of italy we arrived at the port of Civitavecchia. We decided the excursions were too long and expensive so pottered around the port town, with a an odd market and fort. The port near Florence was the next port of call and we just relaxed on the ship for the same reason as the day before, it was nice to chill after the hectic planning of the wedding. Cannes was visited after this. We were delivered by the ship's own little tender boats and we wandered around the quaint town. Barcelona was the last port of call and from there homeward bound.
